Toys For Clamshell Pool

What toys would be suitable to get Sam for in his clamshell pool? I want things that will float and not sink to the bottom. I saw a ball at KMart today which would have been okay sizewise but maybe not dog proof material.

I use tennis balls but I also use toys that sink (rope tugs) as they love to duck their heads under the water to find out whats at the bottom.

Zero plays with his kong, kong wubba, squeaky ball, squeaky newspaper and frisbee in the pool - he will often go and dump his other (fluffy) toys in there too so while I don't purposely throw his soft toys in there, they usually end up in there anyway!

One thing my young dog really loved last summer was when I made her an "iceberg" to jump on and try and sink in her pool. Fill an ice cream container or similar with water and freeze. Great for hot days!

Ohh... I must try this! My little one loves icecubes in water. She paws at them, tries to get them out (sometimes successfully) and has a great time. Because they are small, we can only really play this game supervised.

We have Kyjen toy called a "Huck Em" which we take to the beach as it floats - so easy for Riley to fetch out of the water.
