megan_
Does this exist? HeartGuard Plus does intestinal worms too. I want one that only covers heartworm, preferably a chew.

poppop
Yep - my girls use ProHeart monthly tablets which are only for heartworm. They are not to be confused with the annual heartworm injection which is think is also called Proheart. The active ingredient is Moxidectin unlike some other heartworm pills such as heartgard and Valuheart where the active ingredient is Ivermectin; some breeds (majorly Collies but also others) have a sensitivity to ivermectin. stormie
Can you still get regular Heartgard, as opposed to Heartgard Plus? It just does heartworm and is a chew

grace
I use Heart Gold chewable they are made by Vetafarm. I get them through vet-n-pet direct and they work out very cheap as well.
