Oscar (AmBull)
I have an American Staffy with a very fine coat. The only brush that will actually pick up and remove hair is a horses Curry Comb. My issue is that he sweats a lot in summer, making him get a real doggy smell. I am wondering what sort of Shampoo people use for their dogs who have similar coats? Is there a shampoo that is good for his coat and has a nice smell to it that lasts? We have only ever used the supermarket brands, we do not wash him often and most of the time he goes to the groomer for a wash, but it would be good to have something on hand. Skruffy n Flea
hello what do you feed him? aloveen is a fave and it has a leave-in conditioner too, but the correct diet goes a long way to lessening the doggie smell
poodlefan
Dogs don't sweat through their coats. What are you feeding him? I'd highly recommend the zoom groom for getting hair out of a fine coat - gets more than a curry comb. I love the Groomer Evening Primrose Oil shampoo for my Whippet - leaves him lovely and shiney with a pleasant but not floral smell.
