Are your friend's fingers broken?

If not, tell them to pick up the phone, call the local vet and ask them.

We don't know for sure what their local vet will charge, or what's wrong with the dog.

A dog that's screaming needs a vet NOW.

What breed is it? is it a pup or an adult dog? How does your friend treat the dog? It all sounds strange...
