It says Sandoz liquid calcium 10 mls every hour after first pup.....does this sound right? Please breeders tell me what is best when it comes to calcium, previously I just gave good quality vanilla ice cream to the bitch between pups and everything was fine. Christina Posted November 27, 2010 Share Posted November 27, 2010 Recent info now says not to give calcium before or during birth as this can interfere with the bitches natural production of it.
