monique.c
When my dog was a puppy, he refused to eat kibble unless it was mixed with something exciting such as mince or canned goodies such as sardines. Now he has no issues. I wonder if the puppy is being fussy about food and adding a bit of extra something would help. My 16 week old golden does this too, not interested at all if it is just the dry food but if I put in some chicken mince or roo mince or an egg he loves it... he gets distracted too and just wants to play with us instead of eating. He is getting better now that he is a bit older compared to when we first got him... Hope you dog is going well too
mackenzie11
Not sure if this helps anyone! (And its a little OT).I saw on the weekend these 'go slow' bowls. They're supposed to help slow down dogs when they're eating too fast. On topic - good luck! i have one of these for mollie, it did slow her down, it took an extra 30 sec to devour her food instead of the normal 30 seconds or so, so they do work, just for dogs that are piggies it only slows them down a tad
