Herr Rottweiler
Hi guys, Been a whie since I have posted on Dogs online, however I have been reading the interesting threads. Finally made the decision to switch states and leave Victoria behind. Even though theres so much to love about Melbourne, the dog laws are insane and getting worse. There's a group on facebook at the moment moving to sack Joe Helper and his party because of his new pound laws. If you're as concerned about this rampant act of power as I am, get on it. I'm now working at the fantastic Pet Resorts in Dural and Terrigal and loving it. Pet Resorts Looking forward to networking with some fantastic, open minded dog groups in the NSW area if anyone has any suggestions. Regards HR

Jeff Jones
Nothing exciting, I have been busy with work trying out new jobs and managing to stir the pot with management in each position. I will have to catch up in the new year sometime when work dies down a bit.

Herr Rottweiler
Dont know what your problem is....victoria is a great place to live..... even with dogs. Victoria (melbourne) is a lovely place and there's lots I miss about it except for the part where they use it as a testing ground for rediculous laws. Erny
Victoria (Melbourne) is a lovely place and there's lots I miss about it except for the part where they use it as a testing dumping ground for ridiculous laws. My highlight and amendment "Testing" would imply the intent to change, alter, improve if found not to work. Down here when their laws don't work (in spite of the fact we 'normal' people seem to be psychic in that respect) they try to cover them over with more band bad aid laws on top of more band bad aid laws. The Animal Acts need an enema. Edited December 5, 2010 by Erny
