angelsun
We have an Oztrail compact and it's great..light weight and easy up and down...my REAL recommendation....take it down at night...or at the VERY least...take off your walls and roof and leave the bones....it won't be sure thing but it'll help, and it's not a big task to redo in the morning. We take our stuff down every night and it adds only about ten minutes to redo it with our gazebo every morning. No drama and no worries about it ending up in a pile after a wind event in the middle of the night!
Flaves
Oztrail Deluxe here.I have seen many (Altegra / Oztrail and other brands) go flying, often it's because it has not been pegged and tied down properly. I use heavy duty long pegs and hammer them in on an angle, Not straight up and down. I also use the guy ropes. Same here
Riverstone
I have had my Altegra for over two years now and it has held up when many others have ended up in broken heaps. When leaving it up overnight I drop it, peg it down, put on all 4 walls (stops the wind getting in and lifting it) and guy rope all 4 corners. Never had an issue. The Altegra is more expensive but worth it. I also have a landcruiser and if you are not buying the compact version you will fit in a full size Altegra with one of the back seats down. If I was purchasing another one I would purchase the compact version so it can fit in smaller spaces. When I had my trailer made I had to get it made extra wide to take the Altegra (sick of it in the car). I have the light weight Alterga (22kg) in total. The bag has wheels so really do not have to lift full weight. I just lift one end and roll it into the car/trailer. Hope this helps your final selection................
