perrin
Dogs ARE very edible (cho) and, unless Australia's state laws have changed recently, it is perfectly legal to slaughter your dog and cook it and eat it. You just have to ensure that you can kill it cleanly and the dog does not suffer in the process. This might come as a surprise to some newer DOLers but yes, it is true and there are elements of our multicultural society who have cho on the menu. Souff You would not believe the amount of people who think my husband would eat our pets. The first time someone suggested it i was quite horrified at how rude they were but now It's a common joke in our family. Our dog before Georgie, a beautiful kelpie we adopted from MDR was called Photar but was often referred to as Pho Cho (dog soup). Honestly i have no problem with people if they want to eat dog as long as it is humanely killed. Of course family pets are off limits.
