I'm not saying you think she's bad or it's her fault. It's just that breeders put countless hours and care into puppies and it always comes as a bit of a shock when things go wrong, she'll be concerned and probably upset. It's just not something that you'd want to read about on DOL, but rather be told first hand.

I will talk to her first thing tomorrow morning to let her know the situation. It's too late to call her now.

Emmy's just going above and beyond her sisterly duty to understand what Charlie's been through... or maybe being a more typical little sis and saying "you're not so special Charlie, I can have things happen and need lots of attention and cuddles too!" :)

Just kidding, I'm pretty sure she gets just as many cuddles as Charlie anyway! I'm so sorry you all have to go through surgery, but Emmy's tough, she'll be just fine :rofl:
