Daisy
Can anyone tell me where to find this legislation please. Thanks ETA I can see where it states under what conditions a dog can be seized, and under what conditions a dog can be declared dangerous. The laws do mention a euthanasia order, however do not give any conditions under which such on order would be applied. I do know that in my area if a dog bites a person the rangers will apply for a euthanasia order. But does anyone know if a euthanasia order would be applied if a dog attacked another animal? Would it depend on the severity of the attack? What if a dog killed another animal, for instance a cat? I did see a thread on here recently where someone was asking about dogs being seized for killing a cat in Victoria, I can't find that one, but believe it would be different in NSW to VIC, however if anyone can link me to that other thread it would be appreciated.
