mona
hi Darkrai Both Qantas and Virrgin Blue will let dogs fly as cargo. ( Jetstar do not transport animals at all ) To be included in your baggage limits , they have quite specific requirements and costs , so it is best to check with each airline. Just give them a call on their reservation numbers and they will advise you If you want to fly as freight , you would be best to use a pet transport company , either Jetpets or Dogtainers. They then take care of the paperwork etc for you . ( You can nominate times you want the pets to fly ) Hope this helps , and enjoy your trip with you pooch
bel
What size dog are you taking? Qantas will take small dogs as baggage between Sydney and Brisbane so there is no charge for your dog( you take them into the airport when you check in your self) The only other domestic airline to take dogs is virgin. Dogsfevr
I fly large dogs yearly . You will be looking (if Rotti) size about $175 give or take each way plus crate hire if required. Virgin only take vari or solid wire crates no fold ups & fly every day. Qantas take fold up wire crates but have restricted times on weekends that they take dogs
