Changing From Puppy To Adult Food?

Miss Poppy is turning one on the 6th of December and from what I've been told it is from age 1 that they can have adult kibble?

So my question is how do you make the transition? Slowly? Mixing it with the Puppy Kibble? Or can you just make a straight switch from Supercoat Puppy to Supercoat Adult?

Depends on the dog. some dogs will switch straight away but if your baby has a sensitive stomach then mix it in over 4 days, using less of the puppy and more of the adult each time...

I would mix it in so that it's a gradual transition. Perhaps time it so that you can finish off the puppy stuff you've got- so that it doesn't go to waste.

Day 1: 3/4 Puppy, 1/4 Adult

Day 2: 1/2 Puppy, 1/2 Adult

Day 3: 3/4 Puppy, 1/4 Adult

Day 4: Adult only

You can probably stretch it out even longer if your puppy has a super sensitive stomach. When I switched over we were still using the same brand so i found using the above formula my dog was fine.
