Wuffles you have put my mind at rest a bit now, but it's still a bit of a worry, thankfully the wound is looking very good, but it's the internal stitches that are the worry.

Kirty it was too late for us to do anything about the vaccs, and the vet was concerned about the parvo going around at the moment so I guess it's a risk either way at the moment, i am not a great fan of vaccinations and will try and get it done homeopathically next time, if at all.

we once had an Aust silky that was vaccinated, and then we got a poodle pup who we got vacc as well, and the silky ended up getting Parvo and dying  , so hard to know what to do sometimes.

We can't wait for that day wuffles Abby is a handfulll at the moment wanting to run and jump around she's driving us :( at the moment trying to keep her calm and it's only day 3, I wonder if you can get anything to keep them calm? I Think I'll ask our son as he does bush flower essences, maybe he can make something up for her.

Do some training- trick training is great fun!

A 10-15 min leash walk 2x daily will help take the edge off.

Make up some doggie ice blocks- fill a plastuc container with water and add some treats such as sardines (Mindy's fav) or some beef/chicken/fish stock. This usually keeps them entertained for a while. Frozen kongs are also good.

Walking around is ok, so if you can manage to do lots of short walks ( 10 mins at a time) that really tends to help keep them calm.

Thanks Staff'an Toller, I think the vet said about a week before short walks, but the way she is carrying on when she is let out in the yard for a moment to toilet, you wouldn't think she's had an op.

Lablove.
