Congratulation on your DDB, I have recently brought my own first show DDB puppy aswell and its my beautiful baby. I still have to get it to stop biting me and the kids, so she will be attending puppy school very soon *YEEPEE*, i can't really think of a prefix but i just recently chose mine as redblaze. Maybe you can choose:

1. Diamond Dogue

2. Ranger Dogue

3. Top Dogue

I know how it feels to choose a name, but i hope you will soon.

Cheers,

RedBlaze

The OP is wanting to choose a registered name, NOT a prefix. You don't get to put your own prefix on a dog that you purchase. It isn't like horse breeding where you can pretty much name a horse anything, including your own prefix, despite not having bred it.

Thanks everyone for your help.

We got so sick of looking that we ended up just picking something totally different and just going with it. haha.

nothing was really singing out for us - or that we could BOTH agree on  . So we have gone with (prefix) Fantasia

Then we kind of have the Disney theme there...to go with Nala

Thanks again everyone! You were a great help

Probably not a bad idea to also give a second choice in case for some reason the first is refused. Fantasia is quite a common one so it may have already been registered and would therefore not be available.

I like the idea of celebrating the first show dog.

How about:

Prefix On Debut (Debut is a french word after all)

Prefix Our Debut

Prefix The Debutante

Prefix First Among Equals

Prefix Primary Colour

Prefix Sacajawea (she was a pioneer)

Prefix First Past the Post

And if you get desperate

Prefix BreatheN Smile

Oh poo - you'd already chosen.
