W Sibs
Took him to the specialist yesterday for a check up and the specialist couldn't say anything was wrong with him. Have to take him again in another 3 months because the previous xray (3 months earlier) shows that his right pelvis bones are slowly vanishing but not so badly or quickly that anyone is panicking about it. Especially that he is still very active and he doesn't seem to be in pain at all. She keeps saying that everything she sees him, she is always speechless with his progress. Especially with the fact that he is on NO medication at all. All his healing is all done naturally. Only thing we have to change is his diet. Less bones now. Too much bones is making him hard to go to the toilet now. So more dry kibbles for him from now on. Other from that, she told us to continue what we are doing for him. So, Charlie is healthy and happy I can't believe it's been a year...

Loving my Oldies
Amazing and wonderful news. I often think of him and how difficult it must be having a loved one (four legs or two) with a long term and basically wait and see condition. You have done so well, all of you. Adding EW to the mix must have helped too.

W Sibs
Thanks everyone Amazing and wonderful news. I often think of him and how difficult it must be having a loved one (four legs or two) with a long term and basically wait and see condition. You have done so well, all of you. Adding EW to the mix must have helped too. Emmy definitely plays a huge part in Charlie's recovery. We took her to the specialist with us yesterday and the specialist saw first hand how much Emmy helps. Emmy was playing with a toy and decided she wanted Charlie to play too, so she walks over and invites him to play (her invites means whack him across the head with the toy)... while the humans were talking about Charlie's diet, the dogs were playing bitey face with each other or tug. We had to speak louder in the room over the growls and danced around the dogs while they pulled each other up and down the room The specialist fell in love with Emmy. Ask if we can bring her to Charlie's next visit :D
