Pointees
Hey BB, Lucerne isn't too good for rabbits - sorry Alfie02! I have purchased Timothy Hay, and so has Groupfive. Lovely, green hay. Nice and soft (as in, not rough like straw), and smells absolutely great. Our rabbits love the stuff. I have 2 day time runs set up in my yard, currently under cover, although normally on the grass. When its under cover I put meadow hay on the ground for the rabbits, and they love that stuff too. ;) Meadow hay can only be purchased in a sqaure bale though. newfsie
I thought timothy hay was rye hay........Just like alfalfa hay is lucerne hay I lived in the USA and we had Quarter horses there as we have here now. And I am sure it looks the same. But I could be wrong Edited November 9, 2010 by newfsie
