Hey BB,

Lucerne isn't too good for rabbits - sorry Alfie02! :o

I have purchased Timothy Hay, and so has Groupfive.

Lovely, green hay. Nice and soft (as in, not rough like straw), and smells absolutely great.

Our rabbits love the stuff.

I have 2 day time runs set up in my yard, currently under cover, although normally on the grass. When its under cover I put meadow hay on the ground for the rabbits, and they love that stuff too. ;) Meadow hay can only be purchased in a sqaure bale though.

Oh I had no idea that lucerne isnt good for bunnies, they just wouldnt eat the timmothy hay so I got them lucerne

Belgian.blue, sorry I only found it at my local pet shop....which is in a small rural-ish town....so maybe if you checked your local pet shop they mite have it? Or if they dont have it ring around some more rural pet/feed stores in you area and see if they have it?

Sorry I couldnt help more!

I thought timothy hay was rye hay........Just like alfalfa hay is lucerne hay

I lived in the USA and we had Quarter horses there as we have here now. And I am sure it looks the same. But I could be wrong :o

Yeah I found a website that does stock it .. as above .. but delivery is $15, no thanks. I'd rather try and get it locally.

Not to worry, I'm sure I will find some. Thanks for your help.
