lic_82
Im just wondering if someone can help me out a little bit.. I have a photo of a parrot that I took and I have removed the background as best I could but I took it through a cage so there are some marks showing up on the bird and I cant work out how to remove them in photoshop, can anyone give me some advice on how to fix it? spottychick
You need to use the clone tool. It takes a bit of practice and is a bit fiddly but I love it!!! Here is an article on it and there are lots of other how-tos and vids around if you do a search. link

spottychick
you're welcome. You can do it without sacrificing quality. The trick is layering and getting small pixels - oh and lots of patience. I have spent hours just doing one area using clone tool - and my eyes felt like sh!t when I'd finished LMAO but worth it in the end.
