If you let me know what breeds you are interested in I can look up where and what day their specialty is on. Some Specialties will be at Erskind Park, others are at Castle Hill and I think a few others are a little scattered. If you are at the Royal for the GSD's come over and introduce yourself. Katdogs Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 Questions for an interested bystander * I thought there was only one family of Bergamasco in Australia, or at least just one breeding pair. How many of a breed are required for a show? * When do the 'children's showing' thing happen, or does it not at a Royal? One of my neighbours has a lovely Fox Terrier for the children to show, along with their own Staffords. * How can I possibly get to see all my favourite breeds when there's a few every day of the show and I can't take all those days off work :rolleyes: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Shelby Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 Katdogs - with rarer breeds, there may only be one dog representing the breed on the day and will be judged as normal. Junior Handlers is being held on Sunday 17th April and is by nominated entry only (run a bit differently from normal shows). Final of the handlers is being held on Monday 25th April. Yes, hard to see all your favourite breeds when the show is held over so many days.
