Hello again everyone,

Firstly, I am very happy to report that my' weighty' problem with my beautiful border is not as' weighty' as previously thought. Due to hubby trying to weigh him on our scales at home we were getting quite incorrect readings. I never use the scales so had no idea they weren't accurate. But I am really pleased they were though LOL. Yes, we are on a strict diet & this has been a very much needed wake up call for me as a responsible dog owner. Not as strict as it was going to be. A big thank you to those members who positively helped me with my quest. Will keep you updated with our progress as I will be doing a weigh-in with my boy every fortnight ( at the vets !!! ) to monitor his progress.

What is his starting weight?

I'm glad you are going to be working on geting it down with regular monitoring at the vets.
