It is a fantastic camera i was going to get the 60D which i think would of been fine but it was always in the back of my mind that i would someday up date to the 5D any way so why not just get it, my husbans words any way, i said no we shouldn't cos of the cost, but in the long run it is worth every sent. Love it so much but still have so much to learn.

(husband and camera ) Gorgeous little models you have to practice on Hi Becandcharch, thanks for your replay, i am a very lucky girl. The Blonde little girl and the fair hair little boy are mine, they both love the camera so it make it lots of fun.
Kirislin
Just to let you know, when you post a new lot of pics you dont need to quote your previous post, you can just hit fast reply, or add reply to post them. Your dogs are gorgeous, I have a soft spot for chi's after getting to know some. They are clever, charming little dogs, and very pretty too! What lens did that super hubby of yours get you. Thanks Kirislin, I had no clue how to post or reply ect so forgive me if it all a bit messed up. I have always loved the chi's, my babies are so sweet. The lens is Canon EF 24-105 it is really good but you would know more about it then I would, could you suggest a lens for shooting distance as this doesn’t get that fair, I want to be able to zoom right in on my subject Kids or dogs and still get that close up effect (look), does that make sense, hope you understand what I mean. Thanks
Linda K
if you are wanting a zoom, and don;t want to foot zoom (ie walk closer), then a 70-200 might be a good choice. The 5DII is a great camera, but does have one heck of a learning curve, esp if it is your very first SLR, but would definitely suggest you red the manual cover to cover, and if you are not up with shooting on manual (ie you let the camera still make all the choices for you re shutter speed, aperture etc, and all you are doing is pressing the buttons), then a great way to jump into shooting manual and taking control (and with a camera like that, it would be a crime not to) is to get the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson, and do the exercises included.
