Yep we made the fences higher as she was a jumper in the city but she is doing the opposite now, On thinking & reading i think i am going to have to do the electric fence as i really dont want to lose her to traffic or Big Kangaroos & Yes yr right Sir WJ she is def lovin being out & runnin amok coz sometimes when i have just caught her just outside the fence she looks very happy with herself

I do think you are right regarding 'why' pooch is digging, however if the 'backyard' is made more 'interesting' there may be less inclination to try and get out.

I still think the sand pit is a great idea for any dog who loves to dig. I'm all for as much environmental enrichment as possible.
