julzjc
Does anyone know what these little critters are The dogs water bowl is rinsed out and filled everyday, so was horrified to see these mini-maggots in it last night Moth larvae by the looks of them, too late now as they have already hatched but it is a good idea to put moth traps in your house, pantry for next year as you may find these creepy crawlies crawling up your walls, along the ceiling and in your flour/rice. In the mean time the only way to get rid of them is "pop" them with a tissue until they are all gone (or buy a lizard) lol and put up with them for a few weeks. Oh and mind your head, you will probably see them making cacoons in the corners of your ceiling (and sometimes they drop off the ceiling, sorry but had to warn you)...pop them too before you have dozens of moths. Hehe missing scotland yet CC? ;)

Erny
EEEwwww I found a frog in my dogs water today Awwww .... that's great. I love frogs and wish they could be plentiful once again, like they were when I was a kid. Never did appreciate them back then as much as now, as they used to be common place and tadpole eggs would appear overnight in a puddle after a rain. Hope you put frog somewhere safe from your dog, and in a nice sheltered cool spot, where he could make his way to wherever he needs to be from there. The presence of frogs indicates unpolluted water. Gross but it works. Having said that i used to save them all up for my lizards instead lol. Haha, bet you cant wait for the Chritmas temps! My bro is coming over from Aberdeen for Christmas and New Year. Guess what....he is allergic to the sun! Serious! He has Vitiligo he is going to cook in the heat! He will be begging for snow within minutes of landing here.

Jaxx'sBuddy
to keep weavils out of flour cereals etc just put dried bay leaves on your shelves and/or in the flour and the weavils will never come back.

In the area where I am we used to have thousands of frogs croaking all night long. It sounded wonderful. Then the council decided to put in roads and footpaths everywhere and in doing so ,killed off all the frogs. At night now it is dead silent for miles. So much for caring and thinking about the environment hey
