GoldenGirl85
Cool! That's not too bad at all!!If he went over her and has said she is sound, then she is! - bottom line, so I hope you are pleased with that. Do take his advice or else you can look at getting tablets for the same ie. Vit B12 for humans. I am, I was worried there might be something wrong, but nope, after 9 years of running around like an idiot she hasnt done any harm to herself lol (that includes dragging skinny railway sleepers around the back yard) Im looking into where to buy Vit B1 online, but Im having trouble finding it lol
t-time
B1 - oops sorry, I read the wrong "B" You should be able to get a human one as a general "b" vitamin which will be ok for your dog.
noisymina
You could just add brewer's yeast to her food. That is full of all the B vits.
sas
You could just add brewer's yeast to her food. That is full of all the B vits. Loads of dogs are actually allergic to it, interesting huh, especially as it's meant to be good for skin

corvus
Coming into this a bit late, but I couldn't recommend TTouch and massage enough. I swear it saved our lives when Erik was a puppy. He gets worked up very easily, but has trouble calming down again afterwards. He seems to run at a naturally high level of arousal and it is just so easy for him to go up a notch and so hard for him to come back down a notch again. We did lots of practice of going up and down as suggested in Control Unleashed, and the massage has been hugely helpful and has brought the problem mostly under control. I recently bought a Thundershirt, which appears to help, although it's too early to really say. I just yesterday made a video of massaging Erik for someone else to look at. In this video he's not really in the mood for settling down, so it shows how quickly he does anyway. Tongue flicking abounds. I use quite firm pressure on Erik's back and haunches because he seems to like it firm, and I use firm pressure on Kivi because his coat is so thick he barely feels it otherwise. My previous dog I was way too hard on, though. She was arthritic and I do think I was hurting her. After I watched the TTouch dvd I realised what I'd been doing wrong. I really like the dvd. It helps to see it done.
~Archie~
DAP sprayed onto a bandanna and placed around her neck. Let the bandanna sit for about 10 minutes before putting it on, as the smell takes a bit to settle I have used it on my Golden Retriever who is a bit anxious inside the house and its taken the edge off, he just sleeps
GoldenGirl85
How long does the DAP take to wear off? only asking because they arent allowed to wear any sort of collar or harness in the ring in ADAA agility so if it has to be constantly there for it to work then that wont do the job, I was looking at getting some to spray in her crate though, anyone know the best place to buy it online?
