piper
Well done PME and Superminty! I got to ask though - how do you retire BEFORE the outrun?? I'm guessing you had issues at the start post?
Inevitablue
Superminty is my ear warming hero OMG I couldnt have survived without those ear warmers Awesome weekend away with Kate, Karen & Hannah at Nyora. Couldn't have asked for better results. We went home with one HSAs titled GSD and one HSAc titled ACD. oh, and one extremely well socialised little puppy! Cutest pic from the weekend
piper
I saw pics of that puppy that Karen was trying to claim as her own, cute! Congrats on the 2 titles :) Our first trial for the year was cancelled so we have to wait until June. After Aretha and Jazz's success at the BC Nationals I just want to get back out there again. superminty
Lol, it was soooo hard being the legs in that photo  I miss Mick, what a great little bundle of fun. I love how Thisbe is looking at him in that pic. I will always have spare ear warmers for you inevitablue. And congratulations on your title! My retire before the outrun came about because as we walked into the ring, they were setting the sheep and Cash was indicating he wanted to go anti-clockwise, so that's the side I set him up on. Generally ensures a nice outrun. When I sent him, he tried to cross and go clockwise. 4 times! I called him off each time and re-set him but refused to let him change sides. Once he gets away with a cross, he is usually a right tool the rest of the run and I wasn't interested in playing that game, so called it and walked out! The crowd went wild  Edited April 28, 2014 by superminty
Pretty Miss Emma
Aha, now I know where that little ACD pup went when I went to go and have puppy play!!! It's ok, I got my fix with all the other ones!! I really enjoyed watching those more experienced. I've only just discovered herding in the last 9 months I guess, and I don't know why I wasn't interested earlier. Watching all of you who have some experience makes me so excited about the future, particularly for my Hamish!!
Inevitablue
We planned to stay and watch the B course but when the suggestion was made that we could get our quallie cards early and start the trip back to Sydney... well we packed like speed demons lol Just kept reminding myself not to forget the puppy The standard of work at Nyora is so nice. I wish we could have watched the test runs too. It was the first duck trial I have watched, just wanted to scoop them up and cuddle them :) We will be back for the next lot of trials, this time with my girl to try for her started cattle title. If the boy can, she certainly can!
