PoppyDog
Has anyone used "Pooch Avenue" at Slacks Creek? Or does anyone have any reccomendation of groomers in Brisbane. Southside, western suburbs. Probably not northside. Poppy is a CKCS X CKCS X Poodle. Her coat is VERY CKCS. There is no poodle in it. I've read some horror stories about groomers going to town on CKCS's and owners being really unhappy so would love a groomer who had experience with the breed. Thanks in advance! KitKat
PetBarn at Underwood is soon going to have it's own Groomer - not sure what they are like tho, my dogs don't need specific grooming - however they are supposed to be very nice people! Guest Ams
Wagtails at Sumner Park have a groomer. There is also a groomer salon at Springfield that is very popular with the lady owners of SWF at my work. I will ask tomorrow and see if I can find out where it is for you. Look forward to hearing from you!
cj-b
would tingalpa be too far for you to go? I know of a lovely lady who does a wonderful job. Last night I picked up my boy, she was just finishing a cavilier x poodle, and she looked so very very cute and neat. I could message you her details if it's not too far for you to drive. frufru
Have seen a poodle clipped by Pooch Ave and it was a very good job. But don't have personal experience of them. Edited October 22, 2010 by frufru
PoppyDog
Well Pooch Avenue was AWESOME!!! Would definately reccomend it! They were very obviously passionate about their dogs. Poppy LOVED the attention and cuddles. She came out looking beautiful, tail wagging and so happy! They trimmed her perfectly to make her cooler for summer while also leaving her coat feathery like a CKCS coat should be. Her paws are trimmed perfectly! As are her ears! And best of all she smells AMAZING!!! Definately worth the drive!
