Kirty
Scroll down to see the white pups - they look like merle to merle Aussies to me. http://www.aaps.org.au/dogs/dogs_page_three-b.html
JulesP
Don't think they are fluffy enough for Aussies. Could be merle to merle coolies though.
poodlefan
Scroll down to see the white pups - they look like merle to merle Aussies to me. http://www.aaps.org.au/dogs/dogs_page_three-b.html Definitely look like the product of a merle/merle mating but if they're Aussies's they're not very good examples of the breed. Could be working breed mix. BC's and Coolies can be merle too. Edited October 17, 2010 by poodlefan
Guest Pandii
I would say coolie to coolie, they are sometimes in the rspca here as the deaf ones cant often find homes
OSoSwift
It says Coolies on their listing and that is what they look like. Seems someone does not know about not doing such breedings which is a real shame. Also says that both girls are deaf. Hope they can find someone who understands their special needs. Guest Pandii
Deaf coolies are not hard tot rain, I have done some work with others before
B-Q
I think koolies. A lot of people think they only come in merle so breed to merle to merle. I've been looking at these babies for a few weeks, I wanna rescue one!
OSoSwift
Deaf coolies are not hard tot rain, I have done some work with others before No they are not hard to train, they do however have special needs and a person that understands what having a deaf dog entails. Kirty
I didn't know you could get long hair koolies. They are very pretty. Those pups will need to be kept out of the sun as well.
OSoSwift
Coolies come in coats from smooth to a Border Collie like coat. Yes they will have issues with the sun, I imagine they will possibly also squint in the sun as well.

What is wrong with a merle to merle mating? Does the colour being mixed cause issues (i.e. the deafness) and you should only mate a merle to a solid or soemthing? TIA 2. OMG I want Porky! He is sooo cute - kinda looks a bit like my foxy/shih except she is only black and white.
Parkeyre
I don't see any Australian Shepherd in them at all sorry. I do however see a very Koolie typical style to them.

TIA Merle to merle mating can result in homozygous merle pups who are predominantly white and have hearing and sometimes sight issues. :D ETA: So yes merles should be mated to solids. TIA This is probably worht looking at aswell, its about Aussies but it applies to all merles. http://www.lethalwhites.com/ I think Lethal White is generally a horse term but its used here. WreckitWhippet
not even very good Coolies , for 9 weeks they are huge. Maybe I'm just used to seeing a well bred Coolie, but the head shape, ears and front ends are shocking. That rough Jack needs a good hand strip and to come to my house LOL He's gorgeous
