Scroll down to see the white pups - they look like merle to merle Aussies to me. :cheer:

Definitely look like the product of a merle/merle mating but if they're Aussies's they're not very good examples of the breed. Could be working breed mix.

BC's and Coolies can be merle too.

It says Coolies on their listing and that is what they look like.

Seems someone does not know about not doing such breedings which is a real shame. Also says that both girls are deaf. Hope they can find someone who understands their special needs.

1. What is wrong with a merle to merle mating? Does the colour being mixed cause issues (i.e. the deafness) and you should only mate a merle to a solid or soemthing? TIA

2. OMG I want Porky! He is sooo cute - kinda looks a bit like my foxy/shih except she is only black and white.

Merle to merle mating can result in homozygous merle pups who are predominantly white and have hearing and sometimes sight issues. :D

ETA: So yes merles should be mated to solids.
