She captured these terrific Bokeh shots! Riley Riley again Happy Flynn Flynn again and again Then I tried some of my own ..... no where near as good as Ruth's and I wouldn't have a clue how I managed to capture these!! Bokeh is caused by the depth of field and the way the background blurs. Depth of field depends on your aperture. For example, if you set your camera to f/1.8, you get a lot narrower depth of field than if you were to set it to f/10.
