As for people getting a puppy elsewhere, it happens all the time, which is why I no longer bother to keep waiting lists, at least until after the pups are born. No one is promised a pup until I meet them, which is usually around 5/6 weeks, when they are then welcome to put down a small deposit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You are the breeder and you decide to set the boundaries, including at what age people can visit to see the pups and at what age they will leave you.
