dandybrush
Animal world pet motel is good at cornubia though the dogs sleep in outdoor runs (with a cover obviously), if you want to pay a bit more and give the dogs some more attention Bark Royale at Nerang is quite good, the dogs sleep inside there. Im going to check out beenleigh pet motel for my boy on our next trip, but i havent had any experience with them yet, i think the dogs sleep inside there too. i have heard the pet chalet at brookfield area is quite good too, might check them out for my next trip.. mish13
Mine have stayed at Alidas at stapelton once and I was happy with them. http://www.alidas.com.au/ I now prefer to have a pet sitter stay at my home it cost less and my dogs are far happier. You could try this option, a good place to start looking is at your vet surgery. My past and present pet sitters were/ are vet nurses which is a double bonus. dandybrush
i walked through alidas...i didnt really like it, its a big shed with rows of barking dogs (echoing throughout the whole place) i think it would be a stressful environment. however they did have good grassy areas, and gave the dogs good play times i think just my opinion i have a bro in law who sat for us last time we went away, so am on the market for a new place atm for our next trip prob next easter Edited October 11, 2010 by dandybrush
Niques
I have James booked into Moggill Pet Motel for January...first time using them! A family member also recommended the Brookfield PEt Chalet, although they haven't used them for a few years.
mita
Samford Pet Resort is the only place I'd send our tibbies to. They have an optional level of accommodation where the dogs are in rooms just like a bedroom at home. It costs a bit more than their regular kenneling, but it's perfect for inside dogs. They also actually have a vet on staff. They have an arrangement with numbers of vet clinics around Brisbane, to act as a pick-up and drop-off place, if an owner prefers not to drive to Samford. ESCS
There's also Imparra Pet Resort at Ipswich which was recommended to us by the day care that our dog goes to. The people at Samford Pet Resort are lovely and very accomodating. I tried to book our tibbie into their individual suites for the Christmas holidays but they were booked up. November might still be ok. My cat has been a regular at Brookfield Pet Chalet for many years and I really like them. Our cat loves it there as she never wants to come home. We haven't tried the kennels but the carers there are very professional and the place is well kept.
