Monkey Take's Baby From Home

Bit OT, but ...... A monkey entered a home in Malaysia, grabbed a baby and took it to the rooftop. At some point took a couple bite's and

dropped it off the rooftop.

My mother told me about this last night, how terribly devastating for the family.

Oh my goodness. What a terrifying ordeal for the baby, my heart goes out to her. And I feel so sorry for the poor parents, what an awful, terrible thing to have happened, poor parents having to live with that event.

From what I understand the monkey bit the baby and then realised it wasn't food so it stopped. Then it dropped the baby because someone yelled and startled the monkey. Unfortunately it happened to drop the baby off a roof.

A terrible tragedy all round but FWIW it sounds like it was an accident/mistake on the monkeys part rather than some wierd malicious baby-killing monkey Not that anyone here implied otherwise, but I've seen people going a bit overboard about monkeys killing babies elsewhere on the net.

Is it possible that the monkeys are highly territorial, and maybe it killed the baby intentionally?
