Bonnie Pup
My dog's being vaccinated tomorrow at 9am and I wasn't thinking, and put frontline on him tonight. I understand they vaccinate in the same spot the frontline goes (back of neck.) Do you think it matters that I've put frontline there and they're going to vaccinate him in the same spot? Mrs Rusty Bucket
Phone the vet before you go to check. Or ask when you get there. I'm sure they could find another spot if they need to.

OSoSwift
vaccines can be given anywhere. The neck is the easiest place. When I was showing my previous bitch I asked for any needles to be given over the ribs on the off show side. That way if there was a small reaction (or big) she didn't look like she had a funny humpy topline.
shellbyville
My vet usually injects on the side rib area as well.
