Is this legal....are Dingos allowed to be bred and sold as pets in WA? Hi CrazyCresties I believe that it's legal to have a Dingo as a pet in WA. Here's a website about it http://www.wadingo.com/dingos/pets.htm

I notice that one of the Dingoes names is 'Lindy'... No probs CrazyCrestie! . I actually got interested in Dingoes a few years ago as I discovered that my Father-In-Law is sort of obsessed with them, and he's never even seen one! He's in the US, so I send pics of cute Dingoes every now and again to tease lol. This photography place in Perth works with the Dingo Society and there are some great shots of Dingo pups in the 'Other' gallery http://www.houndstoothstudio.com.au/gallery/studio-other1/

Odin-Genie
I've seen two dingos at my local dog park. Very well behaved. Don't bother other dogs. And quite good looking.
kelpiekaye
I think owners of dingos have to have a permit.
Staranais
They got some at one of the zoos here in NZ. Nice looking puppies, but I kind of expected something more exotic - honestly, it looked like they'd nicked over the road to the SPCA & adopted a pair of little yellow pups. Interestingly, they've apparently both got nasty hip dysplasia, poor things.
