my puppy mollie and i are starting obedience classes this week, i don't know what to expect, they have a puppy class that she will go into and she will be with about 2-3 other puppies, they said mollie will be taught to - sit, stay, come and not to be such a mad puppy at meal times, amongst other things

i have started training her at home and she has learnt - come, sit, off (for furniture), up (to get on furniture) these all took a few days to pick up, BUT she picked up quick smart one word - TUCKER, she can be in deep sleep and i say TUCKER and she is wide awake,

i have never been to obedience classes b4 and don't know how to tell if the one that i am using is a good one

how will i know that this is a good class for my mollie to learn and thrive in

your advice would be appreciated

I would see if you can go and observe a class without Mollie first, so you can see what kind of methods they use, and what the trainers are like. You can tell pretty quickly if that's the kind of environment you want yourself and your puppy to learn in.
