The UK Kennel Club will the adding the white colour onto the breed standard for the Miniature Schnauzer. I think the Aus BS is taken from the UK one, so I'm wondering if it will be automatically updated at the same or similar time to the breed standard here - or will it take a push from the breeders over there to get the change made, if they wanted the white colour adding?

I know with FCI standards, the changes are made within the year but I don't know about KC standards we use here.....

The Tibetan Terrier Standard has a proposed change as well (no hair over the eyes! ) so I guess I'll be finding out about that soon enough! ;)

Talked to some mini people and as Showdog said, it is a non topic. I did not know until I read it here and those I have spoken to have said they will adopt a wait and see if it changes anything here.

It has been common knowledge amongst the mini people that the whites had been voted for in the UK quite some time back & where awaiting the UK kennel club to make the final approval .

Now that it has been approved & may not have been clear when the show had started it can be pursued .

The Mini schnauzer club of NSW have there champ show next month so we will see what happens there
