Both were in the evening sweepies (All Breeds), with Ziggy going second place and winning a generous cash prize. CC

Guest CaptainCourageous
I'm very proud of Paula with Ziggy and Rochelle with Zane. From the breeder perspective, much of it swings on two decisions in the past to use the studs we wanted despite the tyranny of distance rather than convenient compromises - but maybe that's for a separate thread. Blakbelgian
Thanks everyone. With the Nightly Sweeps does anyone have a final figure of how many breeds were in the ring? I think there were: 2 Silkys, 2 Schipps, 1 Bedlington, 1 Collie Smooth,1 Collie Rough, 1 St Poodle, 6 Aussie Shephereds (?) 1 GSP. Didn't think Ziggy would win as he kept moving his back foot after I told him to stand. Loved the corner block that we were benched in. BB
nynka
I am on the last Friday so can't go in the sweeps, sounds like a great opportunity though. Just reading the schedule now and wondering if I mis-read it - it says Sweepstakes will commence at 6 pm with the exception of Friday 24th - I took from that NO sweeps were on Friday 24th.... anyone else got any thoughts on this? It's too late for me to enter now even if I could.

And I think a good opportunity for the public to see potentially more interesting judging and to see the various breeds all together! The public were certainly interested and were asking some good questions. Congrats, Paula & Ziggy!! Was great to see you guys do so well I think there were 3 Golden Retrievers??
