Volunteer Walker - Sydney

I haven't posted on here in a very long time but this is the first place I thought of.

My 19yo son lives and works in Sydney and now - 18 months down the track - the excitement of living in a city and sampling the nightlife etc has worn off.

He really misses contact with animals - dogs in particular. He has also realised that I (his mother, who generally knows very little) was actually right (amazing!) and he does need a life outside the army.

He's a country kid who has always had pets (large and small) and he would love to volunteer to help excercise some 4 legged friends.

Of course, his job means that he can't always be there on a given day or time usually he would know this and be able to plan, but sometimes things are sprung on them and they don't always get the time to let people know (not often but it does happen).

He is based at Holsworthy and does have his own transport.

Does anyone have suggestions of where he might go to offer his services - or perhaps there is someone on here who may need a hand.

what about animal welfare league? my daughter volunteered there for her duke of ed course, its not far from holsworthy
