Vinyl Crate Mats

Zero's doona tends to get a little smelly when I haven't washed for it for a while and because we haven't had a lot of days where it will dry, i have been reluctant to wash it.

I'm after a thick piece of foam, covered in vinyl so that i can just make a material cover for it (so if worst comes to worst I can just dry it inside). Anyone know where I can get one? I would just sew one for myself but I don't think my sewing machine would go through the vinyl!

Great Rugs would be my first port of call - they are at shows, or have a website http://www.greatrugs.com.au/ You *may* need to request vinyl covering but I have seen them before.

Maybe you could also buy him some vetbed that is used in whelping boxes. Lovely and snuggly and dries very quickly when you wash it.

They are almost like vinyl foam covered gym mats. You can have it made in whatever size you want in either single or double thickness. They will make you a cover for it too if you need

That's where I got the idea Rysup - I was going to wash Z's bedding this morning but it wouldn't have dried today so I left it and when I was thinking about it, i realised I'd seen them before.
