Sheridan
Has anyone done the tension for the square? And sorry, I skimmed but could see a deadline.
Steve
Deadline for the craft fair is end of January but we will always need squares so just asap is good. Julie
kamuzz
If you don't struggle with increasing and decreasing it is easier to knit squares on the diagonal. Start with two stitches Next row - knit one, increase one into the second stitch and then knit to end Repeat until your side is required size Then decrease Knit one, knit two together and then knit to end Repeat until you have two stitches left Cast off That way you don't have to guess how many stitches you need. goldchow
I've done a couple of circular scarve thingis, different sizes, done on a big circular ring in the same manner as the tomboy stitch of schooldays rather than the wooden cotton reel. Saw them at a market and thought they were a great idea, problem is it does'nt get cold enough here to wear them, can be used in a variety of different ways. Little Gifts
Goldchow could you add a pic? Were they done on those bright plastic circular thingies? I tried to knit one using needles with the plastic string bit in the middle and it was a disaster so I've always wondered how to do it.
