SBT101
It goes down to 36.9, then 36.7, then goes back up to 37.3 - 37.4 which is her normal temp. She is not doing anything else, other than a loss of appetite, but no nesting etc. She knows the drill already, every time she sees the thermometer, she will and turn her bum to me
Aziah
Have you spoken to your vet yet?
lappiemum
My understanding is that it can go up and down a fair bit in the lead up, its when it stays down for an extended period and then comes up that you are on your way - but it needs to also be taken with other signs too. But if in doubt, def vet check! (eta - but ofcourse this is all stuff you know anyway LOL ) Edited November 22, 2010 by lappiemum
SBT101
Yep, I do already know how it all works its just I dont want Kimba to get into trouble this time like she did with her last litter. My vet knows Kimba's history, and she was the one that recommended an elective c-section. I did ring her last night, and will do again after 10 this morning (vets have got a meeting till 10). I have just cleaned out Kimba's whelping box and pen and made it a bit bigger for her and I think I have a 'Paws' up from Kimba 'cause she is in there now, tail waggin
