PoppyDog
Poppy is 9 months old and I thought teething would be well and truly over??? But when I was looking in her mouth last night, as I randomly do, I noticed that on her bottom jaw the two teeth on the side look like they are coming through??? Is this normal??? PoppyDog
PF - That's what I thought. I don't know if it's a retained baby tooth. Will have to have a better look this afternoon. It was just small and close the the gum. It didn't look like a broken tooth but will have a closer look!

poodlefan
Post a pic if you can. If its behind her canines, it could be a premolar.
Starkehre
Hi PoppyDog, like PF suggests it sounds like it might be a P1 (Pre Molar 1), which is a small tooth that stays will always appear low to the gum. This is the first tooth past the lower canine, which is a very long and substantial tooth.
