Going Away For A Few Days

I am going away at the end of the month for four days...

Now I am starting to really worry about where to leave my dogs.

I really, really don’t want to leave them at a boarding kennel. I don’t know anyone here to look after them. I am not comfortable with the idea of someone coming into my home and all that time by themselves.

So that just leaves me with the option of finding someone who would mind them for me in their own home.

Can anybody recommend someone/somewhere in Adelaide that this might be possible? Or should I just advertise?

There is a business in operation called "Don't Fret Pet" that matches dogs with minders in their homes. The cost might be prohibitive, though........

They are probably safer in a good bording kennel than they are in a strangers home.

Why is it that you don't want to kennel them? Are they inside dogs, are you wanting for them to have more attention? If these are your concerns then there are places that can cater to this

Thank you that is something like I am looking for and the cost is reasonable... will look into it further..

Yes they are inside dogs...

Just looking at the runs they are put in and all the dogs barking... I think it would be a very stressful situation for them. Plus Banjo came from the pound and I cant bear the thought of him thinking he has been deserted again

So yeah I want them to be happy and warm and have lots of attention... I just cant see this happening at a kennel...

Have a look at the links above.

There are some boarding kennels around that provide more then outside runs.

I'm pretty sure that Adelaide Hills pet resort provides inside "suites" for pampered pets 'Barossa Bed & Biscuit' might be another one to try
