Manuka Honey On Hot Spot?

Another friend's dog has had cancer surgery on his face and jaw. The dog has recovered so well but developed a

hot spot on his snout. It is taking sometime to heal do you think Manuka Honey would help?

Provided the fungal issues in the hot spot are resolved the honey will help with the healing.

I use Living Nature Rescue Gel (which has Manuka Honey in it) on hot spots for the old Goldie, I have never seen anything heal so quickly (within 24 hours!)

Also I have used Alpha Keri Oil for over 20 years its fantastic and you don't need much.

It depends on what state the spot is in and what the immediate need is.

Manuka honey is good. It can actually kill nasties and will assist with healing. It's good for drawing out infection too.

Aloe vera straight from the plant (so it has no addded potential irritants) will seal and heal the wound as well as sooth any heat/irritation and paw paw (the original Lucas one) will speed healing and minimise scarring.

I use all three and sometimes have to try one and see if it's helping and switch to another if it's not.
