sllebasi Posted September 2, 2010 Share Posted September 2, 2010 i am going to try on the weekend a whole roasted sweet potato and see what my dog does to that - hopefully she will treat it like a bone as she cant have any red meat bones at all (beef, roo, lamb, pork) if that doesnt work it will be back to the turkey necks. kirst_goldens Posted September 4, 2010 Share Posted September 4, 2010 sorry if repeating but i havent read the whole thread yet - My boss feeds a leonberger the prepackaged BARF and they give it to the greyhound as well - easy as all u need to add is the oils (omega blend) and their bones, they get turkey wings and drumsticks chicken carcuses and drusticks necks and wings.. anything really lol tend to give poultry as the bones as it is easy to source and is lower in fat content then most. The barf patties come in many kinds of meat and contain offal so nothing needed to add... though they get a fish meal once a week usually a large tin of mackeral or sardines in oil and an egg every now and then Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
