Mr R & NR
A general Vet or a particular speciality Stolzseinrotts?
Stolzseinrotts
A general Vet. I had a guy ring me the other day about an issue he had, not sure why he rang me but I said I would ask around for a good Vet in his area who is OK with Rotts and get back to him. Hence the reason I ask for one in that area. I have no idea around Camberwell.
cavNrott
If he's prepared to drive for a few minutes further out a really good vet for our Rotties is Blackburn Veterinary Centre. It's on the corner of Middleborough and Blackburn Roads. The adress is 296 Middleborough Rd and the phone number is 9897 4222. When I was living in Camberwell I went to this vet and I still do. It's about a 10-15 drive from Camberwell. I've been going there for about 16 years. The vet I see is Andrew, he's the senior vet there. He's great with Rotties. Another vet there who's also good with my Rotts is Matthew. I can recommend either of these vets. They're fairly pricey as vets go but worth it. Tapferhund
Burke Rd Vets.. My family has been using them for 23 years, even after they changed hands about 4-5 years ago. The Vet and Associates who were there prior to the change of hands.....were fantastic Vets. I was not only a 'client' of theirs for 30 years ..I also worked there, they were the BEST! Then when she retired and sold the practice.........the new ones.....well..I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot barge pole. I took one of my dogs there to the new Vet/s.........BIG MISTAKE !!!! I would not recommend them AT ALL! The Vet up in Toorak Road ...heading towards Hartwell from Burke Road..have been there for years and I believe are very good Vets. Do you mean Waterson's vet clinic? When I was growing up we lived in Camberwell and used him for a number of years, but found it rather expensive, and changed to Burke Rd vets for a number of reasons. Bit OT, but I've since moved out of home across the other side of town, and now found I have David and Phillipa from Burke Rd as my local vets here
cavNrott
I was going to Watersons vet for a long time until a couple of things happened that I felt were not in the best interests of my animals. So I decided to look for a new vet which is how I found the vet at Blackburn Vet Centre.
