Tapua
OK heard back from Andrew - care packages are MOST WELCOME and many thanx for the thoughts and prayers. The cut off time to get packages to teams in Charlie Company is mid September. To send anything to any Sapper address it to 'ANY SAPPER' and they split it up amongst the 8 Engineer groups. Specifically to Andrews section you need to address it to Charlie Campany Sappers 'Bravo' MTF-1 AFPO 13 OP Slipper ADF Sydney 2890 They are keen on Muslie Bars, Choppa Chomps, spicey 2 minute noodles, flavoured Coffee, soft toys tend to get strapped to the front of their patrol vehicles as good luck charms - exhibit A The Stuffed dog is a Beagle BTW. Dont worry about Vegimite - he says they have tonnes of it! Andrew says his 'Stuffed Lab' will be riding with them inside the vehicle. If you want to support the guys OS care packages lift their day big time. Edited August 26, 2010 by Tapua

Bilbo Baggins
What a fantastic story. :D  To all the guys and girls over there. My nephew has not long returned. Thumbs down to all those who think they should be pulled immediately. They are helping the Afghanis return to some form of normal life.

I have about 20 friends in the forces and i'm in the process of joining (hopefully) What these soldiers do is something that has to be done or it could happen here. Good Luck to all airmen/women, seamen/women, and soldiers who are serving their country come back safe.

Perry's Mum
This thread has inspired me - one of this year's Koolie Rescue Xmas cards will be of a sapper and his Koolie in Afghanistan and I have got the Koolie Club members sending his group care packages. dogbesotted
the employees at one of our larger local business have been regularly collecting for, making up and sending packages to our troops.... I am proud of both the givers and the receivers h
