Christina
Why is it about $270 for dogs ? Found out, much to my suprise, today that cats can have PRA too & the DNA test is available at this low cost. Can anyone make sense of this ? Huge price difference. I'm guessing that genetic technologies had to pay the company (Optigen) or whomever for the genetic marker for whatever affliction. i could be wrong, but I don't think they actually do the finding of the marker. Click here to see all the types of genetic markers for many different diseases, different prices for different diseases. I'm guessing the price differs because the cost to them differs
