Inside Dogs?

Dogs have a vitamin D need just as we do. Many indoors dogs do not get the requirement of sun that they need. I'd force them out, depending obviously on weather, for a few hours every day minimum.

Yep.. Vitamin D for dogs is important :thanks:

My 2 likes being wherever I am, and most of the time I like being outside. Weekends we like to spend as much time outside as possible. They enjoy being outside... I think it's because they stay inside a lot during the week while I'm at work, despite having a doggie door for them and everything.

:thanks: how scary having to deal with snakes and the dogs being outside. I hate Sydney sometimes but glad I don't have to deal with that. I'd be panicking every time they go out which isn't good I know but wow!

I plan to have a doggie door, much prefer her to walk out when she feels like it. When we are home she does that anyway, loves being outside for certain amont of time till she wants to be with us again. Just as long as there is balance it's all good.

Yes it is very scary, they can't go and shove their nose in a tuft of long grass just incase they have a snake lurking beneath.

I have nealry trodden on 4 and one I missed only because my Stafford was walking right infront of my legs. I was about to tell him to get out of the way when a snake started flicking around under his legs. I yelled at him while back peddling and he luckily bolted (poor bugger thought he was in trouble)

It was in cover of about half an inch of clover that had grown a little after we had mowed it and it was on dusk. Got my heart rate up that was for sure and freaked me even more as I was 12 weeks pregnant.
